Margarida Correia, a Master’s student in Industrial Electronics and Computer Engineering at the School of Engineering of the University of Minho, was one of the winners of the scholarship awarded by Huawei and .PT. The scholarship has a value of five thousand euros and allows the recipients to focus on their studies and participate in activities or acquire useful equipment for their academic development.

From more than 5300 candidates, 50 winners were chosen.

As part of this scholarship program, Huawei Portugal has already invested a total of half a million euros in supporting 100 higher education students in Portugal.

“I recognize the great trust placed in me, and that motivates me to use this scholarship as a competitive advantage in my affirmation in the academic and, later, professional world”, says the student from Minho.
